Step 1

Choose the board in your hand

These firmware builds are display-specific. The browser can verify ESP32 vs ESP32-S3, but it cannot tell a 2.8" resistive display from a 3.5" capacitive display because both use the ESP32 chipset.

Step 2

Sunton 3.5" ESP32

For the Sunton ESP32-3248S035C 3.5" panel with ST7796 display and GT911 capacitive touch.

I checked the screen size, model, display, and touch type above. The board is connected with a USB data cable and is powered on. I understand installing firmware replaces what is currently on this board.

This browser cannot use Web Serial. Open this page in Chrome or Edge on desktop. Web Serial requires HTTPS. Use the Firebase hosted page or localhost for testing.

What the page checks

Chip family This build is for ESP32 boards.
Flash layout Bootloader, partitions, OTA data, and the KingKiosk app are written at the same offsets used by ESP-IDF.
Board match For same-chipset boards, the physical display and touch controller are confirmed by you before install.

Step 3

Install with confidence

Use Chrome or Edge

Web Serial is available in Chromium-based desktop browsers. Safari and Firefox will not show the installer.

Pick the USB serial port

When the browser asks, choose the connected ESP board. If more than one device is listed, unplug extras first.

Let the board reboot

After flashing, the board restarts into KingKiosk Pico. Keep it connected until the installer reports completion.
